Its a Jegs part number 10563 200F on/185F off switch. The first one i got never turned on |

Test it by dunking it in a pot of boiling water for a min then see if there is any continuity between the output pin and the body. |

Well I put the new one in and it did the same thing. I am running the coolant at a 50/50 ratio the jug said that it should boil at 275. I put a multi meter on the contact and base shortly after it stoped boiling and got no reading from it. I will try to boil it then try it. thanks Pierre |

Well,Well,Well nether one of the stupid switches worked so back they WILL go. Can anyone recommend a good switch? |

I saw the Jeg's switches but figured it would kick on too low..........so I went with the stock GM switch that our auto parts had on hand. The switch is a Wells TS217, 3/8" NPT, two terminal. It was worked perfectly since I installed it. |

I went to Columbus yesterday with the intention of returning both switches but, the Jegs clerk talked me into returning one and exchanging the other. Well I don't know if its a fluke or what but it is working at least for now. |
