I have a 69 vf valiant slant 6 that i have turboed. problem is the intercooler sits in front of the radiator and the car is overheating from a cold start in about 20 minutes. also doesn't help being in australia with a pretty warm climate. Any suggestions to keep it cool? |

Anyway you could mount a longer/slender intercooler lower on the front end. Like lower than right in front of the radiator? |

Mount an electric pusher fan in front of the intercooler? Run a bigger radiator? |

Welcome on the board. When you say the engine will overheat in about 20 minutes from a cold start, does that mean if you start it and just let it sit there idling (or drive it normally/moderately) it'll overheat? Or only if you're whalin' on it? |
