Just curious; let say the S6 dies and untimely death. Is it possible to install a SB (318) and maintain the S6 3 spd. columnn shift trans????? |

Yes, but to keep your existing clutch you'll have to find a 273 bellhousing and 122 tooth V8 flywheel. If you use the more common 130 tooth flywheel and bellhousing you'll need a new clutch. You'll probably also need a V8 z-bar. And if you have an A903 you'll likely break it in short order. Is this an A-body? |

Year & model is important with this swap. Other items that you may need include: The correct exhaust manifolds & piping for the chassis. Engine mount brackets for the chassis / K-frame. Short throttle cable & possible peddle assembly. Correct oil pan and possible dropped centerlink. Water pump and pulleys for pass side hose entry. DD |
