I picked up this engine for free The head id number was 3698447-9 which means a75 thru78 head But on the block the number is 813181818 does this number tell anybody what yeay the block and cam is or should be |

How many freeze plugs? 5 or 3. Have your read the block pad just below #1 plug? its the machined face pointing up toward the sky. Frank |

NO i just saw a stanped number above the oil pump but i will check on it and get back to everyone PS does anyone here know about chevy 350 ecm problems I dont want to use our slant six site for chevy stuff so can some one email me axelb96 at aol .com thanks |

You can ask the question in Social corner, and talk to folks via pm too. Just hop over on Social corner and ask the question. I'm on a couple of GM forums, and find them to be populated by... limited... individuals. if you want to really find the bottom of the gene pool, try a chevy truck site.  The only solid Chevy site I've found is the Stovebolt. Folks there know what they are about. CJ |
