It seems that the planets have aligned in my favor and tonight I'll get a baseline on my car before I mess it all up with that silly boost stuff. This is the longest I've even owned a vehicle without taking it down the track at least once.

Specs: 63 V100 2 door post, 14,000 original miles, 170 completely stock, 2:76 (? whatever came stock) gears. The only modifications were replacing the three on the tree with four on the floor (standard ratio box, not the OD) and 195/75/R14's over the 13-inch bias ply tires.

Going just by the feel I'm guessing 19 flat. She's a pig out of the hole, but does OK once rolling. Anyway, if anyone is going, stop by.

This is what the car looks like:

Sorry I didn't post up sooner; we went on a short vacation and got back tonight. I made four runs with the car and it did a best of 18.86 @ 73.87. It's a tricky one to launch as there is a very small window between slipping the clutch and bogging the motor.

Short times range from 2.867 to a blistering 3.026, while the worst ET was 19.196. Lights were terrible as the car takes so long to move out of the box, some gear or good ole torque would help there. Depending on my work schedule I have an 8 3/4 with 3.23's I'd like to get in before the Hagerstown race. At least I know what I'm starting with, I do like being the underdog...

That is a good time for that setup. Looking forward to seeing you at Hagerstown...

Thanks. It's been far too long since I rowed gears down the track so it was fun. The car is so light I'm sure it will respond well to a little hop up.
