Post subject:  Pressure Plate Torque Specs???

hey all,
well got a new clutch and all and wonderin what the specs should be to torque the pressure plate to the fly wheel. thanks

my book says 55 ftlbs

Are you sure about that? I don't know for positive, but 55'#'s seems like alot for those little bolts. If you were referring to the flywheel to crank bolts that'd seem about right.

It is... good call Bud.

Clutch Cover to Flywheel specs:

5/16" bolts = 200 in/lbs
3/8" bolts = 30ft./lbs
Flywheel Bolts = 55 ft/lbs
