i've pulled and rebuilt alot of engines in my time, but i've never pulled a slant 6 before. i always hook my engine chain on the head but these being on a slant angle, it wont work. i know this might sound dumb, but whats the best way to hook the puller chain up so it will come out even? dave.

I made a "fixture" out of a piece of angle iron that used the 5/16 or 3/8 bolts for the temp sensor, and two other bolt bosses on the driver's side of the head. The motor hung correctly! Mike
