I have a Holley 2280 which has a hard pipe connection on it. I bought a short piece of gas line that has a like connector on each end. I wanted to cut one end of the short piece of line and make a hose barb on it to connect to my rubber gas line.

Just make a flair like you would a brake line, that will hold it no problem.

Yep thats how I do it all the time- just make a 'bubble' at the end so there's no sharp edges to saw through the rubber
