Y'all are probably familiar with Copper-Cote, a gasket sealer compound
that contains powdered copper and is available in daub-on and spray-on.

Spray Copper-Cote on your exhaust manifold(s). They do not need to be
precleaned, sandblasted, or removed from the car. Use two even coats. Let
dry for at least an hour. Drive normally for a day or three, then open the
hood and look at your manifold(s), which appear to be brand-new cast iron.
The copper, when heated, takes on a beautiful deep metallic iron black
colour. (If you see copper and rainbow colours, keep driving.) Seems to
be pretty durable, too!

(It works on V8s and 4's, too...Shhhhhh!)

Hmmm..
I wonder what it will do on rusty headers?
