The Mopar "car" 4 speed is called a "New Process" 833 and there are bellhousings to bolt one to a SL6, that may work for you. DD |

If it's going into another heavy truck I think I'd vote for the NP435... -D.Idiot |

I would have to second DI's vote for a NP432, or even an NP425, both have an awesome "granny-low" first gear. TopHat |

Go with the NP-435 like the others said, they are used in the old style UPS trucks and go for a couple 100,000 with no problems. A buddy of mine has one that makes all kinds of noise, but it still works. I have to ask though, why are you putting a 225 in an older F-350? If I were you I would try finding a 2wd ford with a 300 I6 and a NP-435 on it already, it would be easier I think. |

the reason y im using the 225 is its a great motor and its there. im using a 64 dodge d100 frame for my 61 f350 and thats what the motor is on |

Ok then, I didn't know you were using a dodge frame. On another note Ford did put the NP-435 in a lot of their trucks too. I am not sure what the spline counts are though. |
