I used this software off the internet here: http://www.stockmopar.com/mopar-vin-decoder.php? I punch in "LH27 A69 XXXXXXX" and it says "A" is the code for the smaller 170 slant six! My Reg Card clearly says "Engine Capacity = 3,687cc" which must be the 225 as the 170 is around 2,800cc. Is there a way I could confirm which engine i have in the car? I mean difference between the 225 and the 170? Appreciate any help! Thanx Syed |

Measure the hose that goes from the head to the water-pump, if it is about 3inches long it's a 225 if about 2inches long it's a 170. Richard |

Its OFFICIAL... she has the 170  Engine number (under 1st spark plug) : 170 11 24 Casting number on the block (under the manifold) 2463230-1 PS: Anything more I can find out from these two set of numbers? Cheers Syed |
