This feels kinda silly to post about, but I'm perplexed:

I got a set of front bumper guards off a '64 Dart I believe (it's been a few years). I thought they would fit the correct inner-placed bolt-holes in the front bumper of my '63 Dart.

Got them in the other day, and the placement of the holes from the bumper, to the holes in the bumper guards is considerably off. The hole in the bumper points down much further, and the guard hole is up higher on the bumper.

Did the guards or bumper really change between 63 and 64? I thought they were identical. Is my 63 bumper bent that significantly and I don't know it?

I've found they they need to be year and model specific - my 65 Dart F or R guards won't fit on my 65 Plymouth bumpers and vice versa. I've got a few guards that won't fit either but look the same externally. So it appears the early A guards all looked pretty much the same - with the exception of the bumper cut-outs and bolt location and maybe angle of the bolt.
