my van is my baby i take her everywere.she has the 225 slant with the 727 torquflight. i dont want to change my engine .i dont want a v8 ,but its a van and it kind of slacks going up hills.i was wondering if i could do a cam kit ???? or any other options to increase rpm or horespower????mainly if you know what i mean it needs some get up en go.. anything is possible in my book thanks in dvance jim |

Mill the head, to increase the compression ratio. Best bang for the buck. Helps power and economy, both. |

Vote #2 for a compression increase... and do a little "pocket porting" work and a good valve grind while the head is off. Have you ever run a compression check on your engine? If so, what are the current psi readings? DD |

well i havent checked the compression ill do tonite .what is the max i can mill the head??.porting sounds good ,oldschool i like it. thanks jim |

I took a .1 of an inch off my head most ppl say thats a good compression increase picks up some pep from that Kev |
