On a basicly stock motor is the 390 a better carb to use over the 500 Edelbrock/Carter?
Also is the #8007 the best one to use?

IM searching for a good 390, anyone have a spare for sale or trade?

The 500 will be a bit too big for a basically stock motor. Go with the 390 or even a 350 2bbl. Sorry, I don't have any laying around.

Cheers,

Lou

I ran my motor with both last month. It was a tenth faster with the Holley.
