Hi all,

Looking for a dipstick for a 1960 A-904. I believe the parts exchange from 1960-66, I think one of the Doc's posts elsewhere on this forum stated this.

I've put an ad on here but had no luck, so does anyone know where I can get one new?

Alternatively, if anybody could give me all the necessary dimensions to make one, then I'd happily do so.

Thanks a lot,
60 Ply

That is strange, back housing of the water pump for carbed 2.2L is NLA since 2003 and I needed one. Not the other half that contains rotating pump. So I'm modifying a TBI water pump to clear the fuel pump so I have caravan drivable for awhile. Once I have the pump out, crack in radiator nipple will be repaired. Housing is aluminum and is weldable.

Cheers, Wizard

Anybody have a part number for the 1960-66 torqueflite dipstick?

I might have more luck with the chrysler dealer if I can give them a number.

Thanks a lot,
60 Ply

Part number for a 66 904 filler tube is 2538 834. for the stick it is 2466 302.
Unable to locate filler tube, located stick at these dealers.

I have not purchased from any of these vendors.

Hi Charrlie,

Thanks for the response. Don't suppose you know the p/n for the 1960 version do you? I think 66+ was different (a few cross references seem to agree).
