been ages since I've logged in here, and thought I'd throw something in.
I went off my Slanty for a while, but having just sold one of my other cars I've rekindled my interest in the old Val.....maybe I just needed a break.
So....in the last week, my fuel guage has stuffed up, my temp guage has stuffed up, my ammeter stuffed up and my headlights wanted to play silly buggers.
I fixed the lights (easy), replaced the guages (fuel one is still buggered though) and whilst messing around with the fuel guage it got me wondering something - how come no-one over there makes replacement fuel tanks for 1962 model Vals ? I'm assuming they'd fit the 60 and 61 models as well, but whenever I do a search and look for some repro ones, they always seem to start from 1963. What's the go ?
I guess the same could be said for the sender units as well.
