Kev and I have the Super 8 booked also. Our son Jon will be coming along with us this year. Not sure if we're gonna bring the dart or the duster but I'm sure Kevin will figure it out.

Changed to Nellis Suites Hotel. Super 8 didn't want to give their normal discount for guests coming down for the event. Got a room at Nellis Suites for ten bucks cheaper a night plus the room will also have a kitchen.. |

I was able to save a $100 off the posted rates as of today...by booking as soon as I heard of the dates... 5 Nights...$44.00 a night... Guess I got lucky |

If they were offering a discount, they would have it for a few months. Its all good. I got a great deal at the other hotel and its got a kitchen. I can cook and save on eating out I have no issues with that. I just found it rather humorous that the person that I spoke with on the phone told me they were not offering a discount. I mentioned they had in past years. I was told they were not doing it this year. As I said.. it's all good

I used the online site of Super 8.... not sure why it is less, other than the dates were not "OUT" to the public as of that time...except thru here on this website.... Looked at Super 8's website today...And it was different!.... Maybe the local hotel had the info as soon as it was released to the public....therefore "like" most hotels when SPECIAL EVENTS" occur...boosts up the prices...I know when I go on my Motorcycle runs to places like Laughlin and Reno...the room price goes way up....could be the issue since so close to the track.... Just my two cents... Terry |

I totally agree with you. Motels are nortorious for doing that. I'm happy with the deal I got thru the other motel. It has a separate bedroom and a kitchen. Thanks for checking it out though..
