: I have rebuilt and installed a BBD on my 6. It
: is from a '75 318. The car idles fine for 20
: seconds and then dies. Pouring fuel into the
: fuel bowl allows the car to start and idle
: for another 20 seconds.

: Well, figured out the problem myself. After
: taking the carb apart again, and everything
: checked out, again. I decided to see if any
: fuel was actually flowing into the carb. Now
: fuel was coming thru the filter! Even thou
: you could see fuel in the filter (clear
: plastic), none was coming out the other end.
: My son stuck a brass rod down the fuel line
: and extracted a dead worm.

: Good detective work. Whenever you suspect a
: fuel problem, it's good to disconnect the
: fuel line and pump some fuel out just to be
: sure gas is flowing.
