I was considering buying the bumble bee tail stripes in black, but would like to hear from someone who has used one of these kits. Am looking at Year One's kit. This car needs a little black in the back to balance the black hood. Sam |

I have had vehicle graphics done on our company rigs and race cars for years. Smaller ones are just peel and stick. Larger ones are best done by professionals. Its difficult to get everything straight by yourself. The cost of application is surprisingly low here. My new Roadmnaster goes over the mountains on Monday for tint and graphics. Five windows of Limo tint $300......graphics $90. Your car would look nice with the bumblebee stripe.......although a keyboard stripe might be a cool option....... |

Clean the area well. Then mix up liquid soap (Ivory dish soap) in a spray bottle and spray down the area and leave it wet. This will allow you to move the decal around to proper position without sticking. Use a body putty plastic or rubber squigee to remove any bubbles from under and to remove excess soapy water and allow to dry. You may find a video online of this process with some searching to help. Also if the kit comes with extra material that you will not use you can test yourself and practice on a painted piece of sheet metal.Sorry if this sounds clear as mud but it is pretty easy. |

Congratulations on the new Rudemaster. Or is this one not rude? What color is it? I'm just trying to get the right image in my mind. Except for perhaps the optispark ignition, that is a pretty fine motor. Ignition works fine, it is just a pain to service. If you change the water pump, change the distributor,(or whatever it is called) too, as it is behind the water pump. Sam |
