I got a .465 lift 220* at .050 cam. How fast do you want to go? You gotta pull the head to change cams so you might want to go with a bigger custom right away. Custom Erson cams are reasonable. I may go bigger this year to make sure I reach my goals. Later

Ryan what's up.
My goal is high tens low elevens.
If I go with a upgraded cam should I also change lifters as well?
Also should I look into arp bolts for the internal components,is there a complete kit of do I have to buy the sets individualy?
Also I read a lot about copper head gasket where do I find one of those?
Lastly who makes a good gasket kit for the /6

Thanks Aaron

I usually run at Lapper dragway.

Hussy copper will make you a head gasket just about any thickness you want. Seach the site. There was a group buy here last year.

You should always change the lifters with the cam.

After breakin, each lobe and lifter becomes a matched set. So if you ever remove the cam and lifters, remember which lifter goes with which lobe.

Say, I have the .046 Hussey copper and a felpro set. make sure you get the intake gasket from 66aCuda. Shaker would know if there is another set of head bolt available. I think there was about 7 custom sets made at the higher 220,000 psi? I didn't know there was a group buy on the copper sets. I paid around $80 each. Later

$80 is what I paid for my gasket....66aCuda has the spare set of head studs. Check to see if he is willing to part!!!

So I've done some research and I was wondering if I use a copper gasket do I have to o ring the block or the head?
Also I was looking in hussey catalog and I didn't see the /6 mentioned in the catalog?

You need to call Hussy. You need to know the gasket thickness you want. Turn around was pretty quick. The block, head or both should be o-ring'd. I did the block only.

I got a hold of 66acuda and got a intake gasket no luck on the arp head bolts
