Hello,
I just converted my 1979 D100 /6 column shifted 390 manual 3-speed to a column shifted A727 automatic. I rounded up all of the kickdown linkage parts for a the 1bbl carb setup except for the transmission kickdown lever. I found one that fits (I think it may have been off of a 904) but I am having trouble adjusting it... Here's my question...

Does anyone have a picture, diagram, measurement, or part number for the kickdown lever (at the trans) for a 1979 D100 /6 A727 trans with a 1945 1bbl.

Also, there is a helper spring for the linkage in the factory service manual diagram, but it doesn't show my application (it shows a /6 van setup) does anyone know the correct orientation for the return spring?

Thanks,

Porter
