I'm in work on a conversion, and am done modifying an aftermarket intake. I had to fabricate a fixture in order to "drill" the holes in the manifold runners. It's available to borrow, but it's kinda heavy, so shipping will be a bit pricey. Where are you located?

Have you looked at Doc's article on modifying the stock manifold in articles? He's got some pics.

I've got a few pics on my site as well if you haven't seen them already . . .

Thanks Roger, I'm in Pittsburgh.
I'm not sure yet, but I thought about it and most likely send it to a local shop for drilling. I'll keep your offer in mind.
Thanks, Dan M.

OK, Dan....your call. It wold have to come from Iowa.

It's just that I'm kind of a cheapskate, and when local shops started talking $120-$130 for poking six holes in my manifold, I thought it was a bit much.

I ended up welding a piece of angle iron to some flat stock, "legs down", so that I could mount an intake to one of the "legs", (now at 45* to the flat stock. That way I could clamp it onto a drill press table and "drill" the holes with a .75" carbide burr.
