Hey all,

Wondering what kind of lifters I should use as replacement for my 225. The first step in my rebuild is to pull the head, replace valves, springs, guides, etc, and take the head to the machine shop for cleaning etc.

Can anybody recommend brands/part numbers/specs for a head rebuild on a stock sixer? I would love to have a "grocery list" so that I can just save my money and prioritize the purchase of items as I can afford them.

Thanks all!

If all you are doing is cylinder head work and you're not changing the cam leave the lifters alone.

If the cylinder head is just a stock rebuild you don't need anything other than stock parts except for hard exhaust valve seats which the machine shop can easily supply.
