I have read about reduced oil pressure w/ the use of these kits. Anyone know if that's a legit observation or maybe the result of improperly placed sending unit?

Dual filter worthwhile? Pressure drop magnified?

Do I have unlimited options as to placement of filters? High/low/ near/ far?

If the stock location is a good performer, I'm happy to keep it, but I want to install a sandwich to feed my turbo cleanly.

The stock oil filter mount is fine. The cheap die-cast ones are of spotty quality and good ones (Canton and the like) aren't cheap. The dual filter mounts operate the filters in parallel so the pressure drop is lower, but that's overkill on a slant. If this were my project I would use a pipe T at the oil pressure sending unit on the oil pump to feed the turbo.

Pm me your contact info. I need to get a remote oil filter for the FED and have the parts you need in.
Thanks,
Frank

I'm running one out where the charcoal canister used to be on a late A. The oil pressure seems fine, but it does take a little longer than I'd like to get up there... Sure is nice not to drain all that oil over my steering and suspension components every time I change the oil.
