I'm putting EDIS on my slant and since I don't need the dist sitting down there, i was wondering if anyone had any great ideas for plugging it off without the distributor in place, and sealed to keep dirt / water / etc out?

Freeze plug or rubber expansion plug.

You might be able to use a distributor hold down clamp and fashion a flat plate plug to go over/in the hole. Otherwise, ditto on on the rubber expansion plug.

Take a junk points type Distributor housing( Or any that you have laying around) and cut it off and weld a small aluminum plate over the end. Bolt it in with the normal hold down bolt.
