i am in the process of rebuilding a 170 slant and i am trying to decode
the numbers on the block the pad by the cyl head says 170 but the
build date on the side of the block reads 02. 2 88 and 2205630
can you tell me what the numbers 02. 2 88 stand for because there were
no 170 engines after 1969
