Post subject:  Modifying Holley 2300 for blow-thru turbo?

This came up in another of my posts. I have one of these carbs (350cfm) and am considering using it in a blow thru turbo setup. I understand that the carb needs to be sealed and modified for such use, and I'm wondering how this is done?

It was suggested that I check out the mustangturbo site for mods to this carb, which I did, but I could find no actual modification pages. Any other suggestions?

Carb hat needs to be airtight so: epoxy up the linkage holes from the choke (remove them of course) and any other hole in the air cleaner base, enlarge power valve restrictions ( 2 small holes in power valve socket, trial and error unfortunantly) and get rid of brass float, use common nitrophile style to avoid crushing. remember the boost is going to show up inside your bowls too forcing fuel out the discharge boosters, seems to work but Im no expert. This is info on hanger18.com website google blow through.

Saw this from another forum, possibly from an older deleted thread from hanger18??

I modded a Holley 2300 350cfm 2 bbl with .078 drilled pvcr's , jetted to 70 and running a 6.5PV, .110 needle / seat and completed all of the necessary Hanger18 mods. Also a modded Holley FPR for 1:1 referenced boost.

This was on a GN turbo'd Chevy inline 250, pretty close.
