Can some one tell me where we can get some blocks to get the car down in the rear. Car is 69 Valiant. Thank's Smokey. |

Lots and lots of places have them. Make sure they are 2 1/2" wide and are not die-cast. The die-cast ones break. I used cast iron "lift" blocks from Summit and ate the weight penalty. |

They are for 2.5" wide leaf springs. |

Need to buy new U-bolts long enough to handle the blocks? I will measure the tubes on the 7-1/4's piled under my back deck tomorrow for you! Perhaps somebody can chime in that knows off the top of their head before then. CJ |

Early 7.25' ( small Bolt Pattern) Use smaller axle tubes - Either 2.75" or 2.5" tubes. The later ones (big BOLT Patt) use the more standard 3" axle tubes Like the 8 3/4" Just take one u bolt off even if it breaks and take to any local spring shop, They can make u bolt for you usually while you wait.
