Can some one tell me where we can get some blocks to get the car down in the rear. Car is 69 Valiant. Thank's Smokey.

Lots and lots of places have them. Make sure they are 2 1/2" wide and are not die-cast. The die-cast ones break. I used cast iron "lift" blocks from Summit and ate the weight penalty.

They are for 2.5" wide leaf springs.

Need to buy new U-bolts long enough to handle the blocks?

I will measure the tubes on the 7-1/4's piled under my back deck tomorrow for you! It's too dark right now.

Perhaps somebody can chime in that knows off the top of their head before then.

Early 7.25' ( small Bolt Pattern) Use smaller axle tubes - Either 2.75" or 2.5" tubes.

The later ones (big BOLT Patt) use the more standard 3" axle tubes Like the 8 3/4"

Just take one u bolt off even if it breaks and take to any local spring shop, They can make u bolt for you usually while you wait.
