i have 2 volares and one has the 8 1/4 rear. will they work in an early A body? ie, are they too wide? thanks again |

I don't know if the Volare rear is too wide, but I know that its wider than an A-body rear. You also might have to move the spring perches to use this rear in your Valiant. Hopefully, someone else will know for sure. |

thanks, i was afraid of that. i have another option with a 75 duster that a friend has stilling in the woods. V8 car, it could have a 8 1/4 in it. either way, i will be getting the front end components off of it. |

The 75 A-Body rear end will swap in. If it's an 8 1/4 the drive shaft will have to be shortened. Also use the parking brake cables off your 64. DD |
