Well I let my brother clean my Holley carb yesterday... I couldn't help but notice he was spraying 2 second bursts of carb cleaner into my intake while it was wide open...I nearly took a heart attack...

Now the car is running like pure junk..There's a complete lack of power until the car fully warms up and it almost seems like the choke is out of adjustment, that's how bad she's driving....

Did he wreck my car? :(

Glad you got it running again. Most carb cleaner is pretty combustible and shouldn't hurt anything in the engine. Some guys even use it as starter fluid to wake up engines that haven't run in a long time and don't have gas in the bowl or fuel pressure because of a cam driven fuel pump (like on the slant). It's still best to remove a carb and all it's rubber seals before cleaning though.
