Kevin and I have gone over the schedule and see a possibility of attending 4 of the remaining races this year... Eureka 7 16/17, Woodburn 8 13/14, Medford 8 27/28 (We'll be camping on the oregon coast right before this one) and Redding 10 8/9..

My questions are as follows... Do all of the racetracks above offer camping? Are all of the above races confirmed? and Are you ready for Kev in his mean dart? ;) I'd appreciate any feedback on this.. thanks and looking forward to seeing you all soon. My duster won't be appearing this year but I'm hopeful for next year :)

As far as I know, all of those tracks offer camping and unless something odd happens, the dates should be correct.

How's he doing? We're looking forward to having you folks to hang out with again! :D

The Woodburn race on the 25th-26th of June too soon?

We have members that camp at the track at MATS. Now that's hard core!

Samoa is a bit nippy. We used the car trailer last time, and it was plenty cozy. There are spots to pitch a tent. The runway is live, so don't get too close.
Medford is a bit rocky, but I've tent camped there. Redding has some nice trees, sometimes noisy airplanes, and the odd high wind.

Give Kevin our best wishes, and have him write a note if he's up to it!

CJ

Sanoa and Redding are free and you can arrive the day before the race. Medford has a fee but if you dont tell you are staying they will overlook it. By the way, the rocky outer pits at Medford are supposed to be grass now ,similar to Woodburn. I havent been there this year but that is listed as a track improvement .I hope its true, all the rocks and sticky things all over the tires were no fun.

Hey Ceej :) Kev is doing good.. I can tell though that he misses not being able to race :) I gave him a nudge and told him I'd work it out so he could..

I'm not sure about June 25-26, but I'll discuss it with him tonight and see what he thinks... I'm up for it if he is. We always have a lot of fun with you guys when we go even though that's only been a couple of times. I will deffinitely have him log in and post a note to you all and we'll let ya know if we can take part at the end of June. Woodburn is not that far for us to travel so it would just be finances. Maybe if we camp it would work. Talk to yas soon..

Debbie

Oops.. Totally forgot but the end of June race won't work for us.. I've got a booth at Ocean Shores for my 'booty bag' business... So it'll deffinitely be the mid July one for our first. You all have fun in Woodburn, gets lots of practice.. Kev isn't allowed to come home if he doesn't win ;) *snicker*
