| Post subject: | Are all '67 A-body bucket seats the same? |
Hi all, I'm looking for a donor bucket seat for my '67 Barracuda. I need to modify the seat to allow me to sit lower, but I don't want to butcher my original seat. Can anyone tell me which cars would have the same seats? Are there differences between these and Valiant or Dart seats of the same year? How about different years? Thanks for any suggestions. Roger |

Be able to use seats out of any 1967-1974 A-body...Benchseats from 1975-1976 will also work (driver's side buckets have a problem because of the cat.convertor "lump" in the floorpan...that doesn't exist on the 1967-74 cars). One exception to the above list is the Hemi Dart cars that used the A-100 Van seats with A-body bucket seat rails.... I noticed that my 1967 4 door benchseat tended to "ride lower" than the buckets in my duster... -D.Idiot |
