I am changing the gasket on the rear if my valiant (7 1/4).

What size star bit do you use to remove the plug? The largest I have been able to find is a 60.

I have the cover off. I just need to remove the plug. Any tips would be great.

Use your 1/2 drive socket "square", that will fit right into the plug's "star".
