Not sure how you feel about brand x seats, but I just put in a pair of buckets out of a 97 camaro in my 69 Dart, and they are awesome, very comfy, and I got them off of craigslist for 20.00. |

Oh but if you can,buy two drivers side buckets, makes them easier to bolt in. The passenger side seat tracks sit uneven on the Dart floor. I thinks its because of where the cat convertor is on a camaro. |

do you think those two seats weigh more then the bench? our dart is evolving into a race/street race slant six |

The bench I took out of my 69 had no foam/covers and it weighed more than the buckets for sure. How much more? Im not sure, but at least a few pounds. |

If you're going for all out weight loss, check out the lowback seats out of early 70's or 60's vans. The Dodge/Plymouth ones bolt right up to stock Mopar bucket seat tracks or fab up some aluminum brackets ala the Super Stock racers. |

I used buckets out of an E body and they are pretty light. And they hold me in going around 30 mph turns at 45+ |

I run plastic racing buckets in the Hooptie. They're fine. Fopar seems to be fine making the run to Redding in his. He did find out that you can't sleep in them though. Not that comfy. CJ |
