I'd guess that you have a clutch welded up in the trans.

In my Volare's 904 Transmission, it will go in park, but the engine will not rev up because it is in gear but the parking pin is in so it wont move, and when i put it in Reverse the wheels lock up, i am guessing reverse is antoganizing drive and not going anywhere, and than Neutral is Drive 1, and Than all other Drive Gears work. What is the prob and is it easy to fix? Mike |

It sounds to me like there's a problem in the shifter linkage. I'm not too familiar with 904s though, so I could be wrong. |
