What have you guys with buckets used to fill in the holes where the bench seat mounts?

Things must be different on the earlier cars, on the '73-76 bucket cars, the outer bucket rails use the bench seat holes and a second set for the inner rail next to the tranny/drive line hump.

Think they are called grommets or body plugs.

If you measure the width of the hole you could send/call that website or check that listing and they might have something useful.

Thanks

You can get plastic body plugs (also called sheet metal plugs) in various sizes. I believe those are 3/8" holes. Caplugs and Niagara are big manufacturers. Mcmaster and other sites have these. Last bunch I bought were boxes of plugs from Ebay or Amazon...

I always mount my buckets (custom) using the bench seat holes (outboard) and then drill/reinforce for the inboard holes.

Thanks everyone.

DI- I am not using the stock buckets.

Lou- I am using buckets out of a 97 camaro, and they bolt square to the floor with one inch spacers all around,so I wasnt able to use the bench holes. I do have them reinforced at all four corners :D

Like 14-12 ga plate 3"x3" min, or 16-18 ga channel 1/2"x1"x1/2"?

A set of fender washers aren't going to work well in a collison (been there, seen that...my buddy was at the hospital afterwards...).
