You can get throttle shaft bushing tool from carbjunkys on ebay, they may have throttle plates too, only a phonecall away.

well thanks for the tip but they were not able to help. well i sent my shaft out to a recognized machine shop and he rebushinged the throttle plate. and i got it all buttoned up on the /6 and bam its actually leaking worse than before. FML. it doesn't look like a profesional job to me the holes still look oval and there is still significant throttle shaft play. so i hooked up with a nother guy that works at a chrysler dealer ship. and im taking it to him on monday at lunch. hopefully he fixes it though i do know that the teflon coating on the shaft is worn down were it rides in the throttle plate. so thats probally bad but . for future reference be very detailed when you get stuff machined.

Why not, they have the kits!

Carburetor-5-16-Throttle-Shaft-Bushing-Tool-Repair-Kit
and
Carburetor-3-8-Throttle-Shaft-Bushing-Tool-Repair-Kit

The 5/16" Throttle Shaft Repair kit will service:
Rochester Quadrajet, DualJet and Varajet
Rochester 2G, 2GC, 2GV
Rochester MonoJet and Model B, BC and BV
Holley 2245 and other small Holley 2 barrels
Carter BBD

The 3/8" shaft repair kit will service most carburetors with 3/8" shafts. These include:
GM TBIs
Carter Thermoquads
Holley 4-barrels (including muscle car carbs)
Ford (Autolite) carburetors and more.

Always measure the shaft before ordering, the applications listed above are copied from other sources, and may not be correct.
