Can anyone tell me if the 77 2bl cam is the same as the 79 1bl cam? My oil pump gear tore up my cam gear in my truck so I need to change cams. Does anyone sell a new stock type cam that would be good in a truck? Jerry |

There are lots of cams to choose from. You can get a "regrind" to factory specs pretty cheap. As for the 2 bbl vs. the 1bbl cam, they are the same.
