This sucks I just got my Cast crank block back from the machine shop. Had .070 milled of it and hot tanked, also had my new pistons installed on the rods. I went out to start my assembly and the main bearings dont fit. The number three thrust bearing is way to wide and the number four bearing sits to far back into the rear main seal. I pulled out my forged block waiting for a future build and measured the #3 bearing craddle and its wider than my cast crank block. Stupid me for asuming the bearings I had laying around where the right ones. Nothing like another setback. So now I need to order new bearings. Any one have a part number for Cast crank standard Main Bearings? |
