With the advent of roller lifters there really is no advantage to going to a bigger lifter anymore. Besides, anything over .600" lift on a Slant is pretty much useless since we don't have the flow capabilities in the head. :?

no but it will allow you to run a big enough cam to stay away from roller rockers... and the end goal is .550 AFTER lash...

.904 is plenty big for that. I know someone who has been over .600" with a 904.

You could always bore just the bottoms and use mushroom lifters.

well yea but if you dont want a whole bunch of duration then you cant get under about a 252 @ 50 528 valve lift or so...

Oregon Cam Grinding Intake Lobe #1192...231@050 .558 lift@1.5

And slants need a certain amount of duration to allow enough flow through the restrictive ports....I already tryed the high lift short duration cam...works good if you keep your rpm over 2500...probably would work better if the engine had boost.

Funny, mine cost me $250...of course it won't work on the street...

well yea it likes a high rpm due to the fact you have 25x degree's of duration... probably make peak power around 6300 i would think...
