We towed the Guzzi Fighter Valiant to Rock Falls Dragway in Wisconsin yeasteday. The racing season is ending here so this will be the last time out until next spring. The weather was great, cold enough to show 1,200' density altitude at a track that is at about 1,100' actual!

My car has never been able to to hook up at Rock Falls and yesterday was no exception, spinning and hopping badly in first gear, but the air was so good that we got some pretty good times anyway. 11.39 at 117.45MPH the 60' was only 1.60 so the ET can come down a lot on a good track. We did the second 1/8 mile in 4.18 which is unreal. I even got .021 and .006 lights on my last 2 runs. Maybe next year.

That's awesome Seymour!

Hopefully you'll be able to make some Slant 6 races next season and take back a record or two from Mark,... so he can take them back from you,... etc.

Fun stuff! :D

Greg, I did get a chance to try throwing some more advance at it to see if it would pick up like your car did. No luck +2 degrees, no change at least for me.

Rob, the trouble with trying to go fast is you shy away from anything but the tracks and days when you can go really fast. Maybe I will get back into bracket racing some day.

There were some fast times to be had at Clay City this year! :D

And you can only set your records at a Slant 6 event...
