Mike finished his season with a runner up at the Kearney National Openn a couple weeks ago. He also won the Diviion 5 Aeromotive Low Qualifier award for the season by consistently qualifying in the Top 10 all years. No easy feat in a division full of Drag Paks, Cobra Jets and Charlie Blossom's turbo PT. Mike also finished 11th in Div. 5 points and in the top 100 in National points. He also ran fast enough that Uncle Wally may be sending him sone horsepower for Christmas.

Divisional and National level NHRA drag racing is a cut above what most of us can aspire to. Mike has to carry the torch for slant 6s in that venue and what a job he does!!! Who would have ever thought you would see a super 6 at the top of the qualifying sheets! |
