I just got my slant 3 months ago, I plan on do ing some braket racing.
What can i expect from my slant 4bbl offy intake 6 into 1 header and realy lumpy cam, I dont remember the dementions, somthing like 568 thanks

It all comes down to a good combination of parts.
You need to get the actual specs on the cam, a real lumpy cam with a heavy car, tight converter, "tall" rear gear will be slow.

On the other hand, I have a 2700 lb car with a 3000 stall converter and 4.56 gears that runs low 14's, with a 170 SL6 :shock:

the lift is .528 and duration is 284 i dont konw howmuch my cars' LBs but it is a 72 duster 455 rear gear

I HAVE A 73 STOCK DUSTER WITH A OFFY INTAKE AND A HOLLY 4BBL AND RUN ON THE FRONT 2BBL WITH 4.62 GEARS EVERYTHING ELSE IS STOCK AND IT TURNED 10.61 IN 1/8TH LAST WEEKEND.

hey just went after christmas hunting and in a old race shop i found a used 4bbl intake ill put it on tom whith a holly demond
