I have got ahold of a 84 Aspen wagon. It has a four speed in it, can I use this 4spd in my 74 Duster? I currently have the 3spd floor. Also, will the disc brakes on this wagon easily cross to my Duster? It is in a complete car with shifter and all the goodies. Its all free, so if its possible..........!! |

Yes, Many of the Aspen parts can be used on the Duster. The front suspension is different so not all the Disc Brake stuff can be used. The 4-speed will swap-over with-out much problem. Here is more info on that: http://www.slantsix.org/articles/4-spee ... speed1.htm DD |

Hey, there, I never knew that they made an Aspen newer than 80. I need the trans hump out of it for my 80, I am converting over an automatic car, and if it is an 80, I need that steering column, too. 76-79 are different on the column from an 80. A body nut, Slantzilla and GTS 225 all know me, and how to reach me, if you hit paydirt and can't catch me here. Thanks, Don |
