Post subject: Stock 7 1/4 U bolt legnth

I have a set of super stock springs going on the 69 Dart. Do you guys think the stock U bolts are long enough for these springs? I am thinking they might come up short,anyone know how long they are? I was thinking about getting a set made locally and having them add 1" to the stock size,I think it should cover it.

hi, i think it depends if you have the 5 3/8 "or 5 7/8" long u bolts. the 5 leaf super stock springs<like p3412002> are as thick as the heavy duty 6 leaf springs.
