unless you are going Jet-Hot don't waste your money, just buy some Krylon 1200. |

i have experience with the VHT flame proof paint. yes there is a primer, each can is like 10-11 bucks. i used it on my VW header. it holds up bitchen, especially for a rattle can. prep is very important. make sure its very clean. then use the primer. you have to cure it, i used my bbq, since vw headers disassemble in 4 smaller pieces. you cure it 3 times at 3 different temperatures, then you do the same for the actual paint. just follow instructions i painted my vw header about 6 years ago, it use to be black, but now is a kinda grayish, but isn't any bit of surface rust, and isn't flakey |
