Curious.. What is the $50 pit charge for Woodburn on the schedule?? The info already covers, racer and car, camping for the weekend and such.. Can someone explain to me what this charge is? Thanks.. |

That is the charge for everyone except the driver, spectators pay a fee for Sat. and Sun admission. Richard |

Richard does is that just the 'general' audience or is that what they charge per person that comes in with the racers? |

that's what they charge per person that comes in with the racers, over age 14, age 6-14 $5/day, under age 6 free. Richard |

Wow!! Okay, that price went up from last year.. My sisters friend wants to start racing with the team.. They're coming with us to Woodburn to check it out and Bev can get a feel for it.. |

The last time I asked about age of driver, was told must be 16 yrs old if I remember correctly must have valid license (not sure if learners permit will qualify) :shrug: I will call and ask. Richard |

From Woodburns racer manual- I have a street car. What do I need to come out and test or race? The basic items needed to pass tech inspection for the typical street car include good tires, a battery tie-down, radiator overflow catch-can, operable neutral-safety switch, seat belts, and a valid state driver’s license or NHRA competition license is required for all participants. Don’t forget to wear long pants, shoes, and a shirt! Richard |

Since Woodburn isn't the huge of a trip for us, Kev and I will both be racing... It will be my first so be patient with me |
