As the title says... Would you reccommend using the remflex manifold gasket with headers? I have seen the gaskets and used them in another situation that worked well, but I'm wondering if they'll just encourage the header flange to warp, by giving them a "soft" surface to bolt to? Thanks |

That is what they were designed for... My son has used them on his headers and raced the car for over 5 years with no problems. In fact they have outlasted the Mr Gasket brand and many others. |

Ok. I wasn't talking about how well the gasket lasted, but if there was danger of damaging (warping) the header flange. I'm using them on a 4x4 truck that's going to get regular harsh usage, 4x4 trails, etc. My son has used them on his headers and raced the car for over 5 years with no problems. In fact they have outlasted the Mr Gasket brand and many others. Anyway, thanks for the input. |

I think they will work fine - The Remflex Will not damage your header flange. I really like their product(s). Greg |
