OK, here is a question. The drivetrain out of my 52 Chrsyler is a 318 and matching tranny from an 89 Dodge Diplomat (I think it is a torqueflite).
Is there a way to hook the old speedo to the new tranny?

Thanks!

Tony

There are a number of companies that will make you a custom speedometer cable but you will need to give them the end type & length.
Here is one webpage that shows a lot of the needed parts & options:

Very likely a '66-'67 full-size Dodge passenger car speedo cable will do exactly what you need.

Thanks Dan. I will head over to NAPA this weekend and grab one. I will let you know if it works.

In addition to the speedo cable Dan mentioned, you might need a different speedo gear adapter since the trans is from an '89 car. You can find it in '67-mid 70s cars and '67-late 80s trucks.
