| Post subject: | Differential Bearings |
Stopped by to pick up my spool today. And the garage that was doing this said they could not get them off the orignal carrier without destroying them. So they recommended new bearings. Looking at it, it does look like the puller would be pulling on the cage of the beariings instead of the race. The FSM shows a puller with special plates to pull these off. Is there another way to do this? To use a standard bearing puller tool? Or should I just order new bearings? Rick |

You will be better off getting a set of new bearings... The time you spend getting the old ones off will quickly out-weigh the $$ to get a new set. DD |
